Job Description Quality Administrator - Teledyne Defense Electronics At Teledyne Microwave Solutions, you'll join a team shaping advanced microwave and RF (radio frequency) technologies used in critical industries including aviation, defense, space, and communications. In this role, you are central to ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. $44,500.00-$59,300.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position. - Maintain and update quality management system documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records
- Manage document control processes, ensuring accuracy, versioning, and accessibility
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits; support audit activities and track follow-ups
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators
- Track non-conformances and support corrective and preventive action processes
- Assist with root cause analysis and maintain records of corrective actions
- Support supplier quality activities, including tracking performance and documentation
- Maintain and organize quality data such as returns, calibration records, and compliance reports
- Strong organizational and documentation skills - required
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability - required
- Effective communication and collaboration skills - required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools - required
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, AS9100) - required
- Experience in quality assurance, ideally in aerospace or defense (3+ years) - required
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma - preferred
- Quality certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Improvement Associate or similar) - preferred
