TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified OR RN in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80901!

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week:  36

Candidate Pay Rate:  $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and precision
• Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse support is needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic while keeping patients at the center of every decision

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
• BLS certification required
• Proven experience in Trauma and Neuro within the operating room
• Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 16-suite OR environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures including robotics and trauma cases
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-acuity situations
• Willingness to participate in call rotation and occasional floating within Zone 1
