Travel RN (Registered Nurse) Opportunity

Job Description:

The RN will work in the emergency room providing care for patients with various conditions including cardiac, STEMIs, strokes, and general ER cases. The RN will be tasked with reading and interpreting telemetry strips, administering medications, and providing acute care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care based on the nursing process.
• Triage patients and determine their priority of care.
• Administer medications and perform emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals including ER physicians and mid-levels.
• Adapt to high-stress and fast-paced environments with a fluctuating patient census.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
• Must pass the ADVANCED Dysrhythmia test (83%) before signing the contract
• Experience with all common drips in ER and ability to troubleshoot ventilation equipment
