Grove Point Marinas is seeking a multi-site Director of Operations!
Ideal candidate is based in ET or CT time zone.
This is a remote position with 60-70% work from home and 30-40% travel for onsite visits.

We acquire, improve, and manage high-quality marine properties, combining institutional investment discipline with hands-on operational excellence. Our platform is scaling quickly, and we’re building a best-in-class team to support that growth.
About the Role:
We're seeking a Director of Operations to oversee our regional managers while driving initiatives that enhance the scalability of the Grove Point platform through rapid expansion. Initiatives include revenue management, CapEx, training, departmental oversight, customer service and contract management. You will guide budgets and forecasting, strategic inventory planning, and pricing. You will also establish consistent SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), KPIs, and tracking tools across all properties. You will be responsible for the overall success of all properties in our portfolio, including storage revenue, service, fuel sales, boat rentals, cabin/condo rentals, and retail. This position oversees our team of Regional Managers (who oversee multiple GMs at typically 4-8 properties) and reports to the COO, with high visibility to our Co-Founders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years managerial experience with senior team members.
- Multi-site business leadership.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Experience as a customer or employee at a marina.
- Strong project management experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to train and develop staff through effective coaching techniques.
- Hands-on leader who can motivate a team and ensure that all functions run smoothly.
