Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. This role is focused on delivering high-quality adult acute care within a Level 1 Trauma Center. Candidates will work primarily with devices such as the PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators. This is a night shift position, perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced, critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Confirms physician orders and assesses appropriateness to ensure quality patient care.
• Explains treatment procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
• Performs respiratory/pulmonary procedures following department protocols.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Collaborates with care teams and contributes to quality improvement programs.
• Maintains proficiency in respiratory care skills through continuing education.

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered if Registry Eligible with appropriate experience.
• Experience in using PB 980, PB 840, V60, Epoc, and ParaPacPlus devices.
