Interim Chief Marketing Officer

Duration: 6 Months (20-30 hours per week) Location: Austin, TX 2-3 days per week in the office A mid-sized client is seeking an Interim Chief Marketing Officer to assist them through a critical transition. We are seeking a hands-on leader who can guide the team to prioritize projects and optimize the results they are achieving. Key Accountabilities: Develop and execute acquisition strategies that increase new client acquisition, product penetration, and lifetime client value. Build data-driven marketing capabilities that deliver personalized, next-best-offer campaigns across digital and branch channels. Establish marketing analytics, attribution, and ROI measurement frameworks to maximize acquisition efficiency and campaign effectiveness. Partner with business and digital teams to create seamless, personalized client journeys that improve engagement, retention, and advocacy. Oversee CRM, marketing automation, customer data, and AI-enabled marketing capabilities to strengthen targeting and decision-making. Lead a team of 20, helping them to develop their capabilities. Competencies and Requirements: Significant experience leading a digital marketing function. Experience in a mid-sized financial services organization and knowledge of digital marketing best practices for new client acquisition and expansion. Strong strategic planning and execution skills. Ability to \"land running\" and bring immediate value. Demonstrated team mentorship and development capabilities.
