Bilingual Driver Recruiter (English/Spanish)

Location: LaPorte, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | 8am to 5pm with before and after-hours engagement, as needed.

We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Driver Recruiter to help identify, attract, and onboard qualified professional drivers and owner operators for both local and over-the-road opportunities. This role serves as a critical link between prospective drivers, Operations, and Safety, ensuring a seamless hiring experience while maintaining compliance with DOT and FMCSA requirements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, fluent in both English and Spanish, and thrives in a fast-paced recruiting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for professional drivers and owner operators.
• Source, recruit, screen, qualify, and onboard driver candidates who meet DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Identify and recruit owner operators, as well as drivers for owner operators.
• Utilize job boards, social media, referrals, and third-party recruiting resources to generate qualified leads.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective drivers throughout the onboarding process.
• Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, text messages, and other candidate inquiries.
• Maintain detailed and accurate driver records and recruiting activity.
• Review employment documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Upload and maintain driver files within company systems.
• Schedule and coordinate pre-employment requirements, including drug screens and physicals.
• Retrieve and process clinic results in a timely manner.
• Guide applicants through online applications and onboarding platforms.
• Build strong partnerships with Operations and Safety teams to understand driver hiring needs.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified driver candidates.
• Analyze recruiting reports and monitor progress toward hiring goals.
• Handle a high volume of calls, emails, and candidate interactions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. 

Qualifications

Required

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor.

Preferred

• Previous transportation, trucking, or logistics recruiting experience.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA hiring requirements.
• Experience recruiting owner operators and professional drivers.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.
