Receptionist (Part-Time)

RECEPTIONIST:

Temporary, hourly, and part-time status: 10:00 am to 2:30 pm daily First point of contact for all visitors. Must be presentable, personable and pleasant. Receives and directs all visitors to appropriate locations and parties. Must have ability to discern cold calls or screen phone calls to minimize unnecessary sales calls. Job responsibilities: Typicallyoperates a single or multiple position telephone system. Maintains avisitors' log and issues badges when necessary. Notifies personnelof visitor arrival. May performrelated clerical work such as word processing. May usecompany intranet, paging or other computer based systems. Responsiblefor sorting and distributing incoming mail, updating boards and forms in the mailroom. Assists otherdepartments with clerical tasks while at the front desk. Maintainsphone lists for local and out of area offices. Additionalduties may include filing, and completing special projects for otheroffices. Performsother clerical tasks in other departments (when not covering the frontdesk). Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, Experienced with Microsoft office products, ability to learn new applications quickly.
