Environmental Inspector

Overview Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an Environmental Inspector to join our growing team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of local, field‑based environmental projects, supporting pipeline, water infrastructure, and site development work across the region. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while working alongside experienced professionals in a hands‑on environment. Responsibilities Perform on‑site environmental inspections for projects including pipeline construction, water transfer systems, well pads, and roadway construction Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental permits, plans, and regulatory requirements Inspect and document the installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control measures Prepare daily field reports, documentation, and compliance records Communicate with contractors, project managers, and environmental teams to address field issues and maintain project progress Utilize GPS or data collection tools to document site conditions and activities Support overall project compliance and environmental protection efforts Why Join CEC?
