Employment Litigation Associate

Position Title: Employment Litigation Associate A nationally recognized labor and employment law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to handle sophisticated California employment matters, including wage-and-hour class action claims and PAGA cases. This role will provide hands-on responsibility across discovery, pleadings, motion practice, depositions, case strategy, and other critical stages of employment litigation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of litigation experience with significant exposure to labor and employment law. They are proactive, confident in managing substantive litigation responsibilities, and ready to contribute within a collaborative team while continuing to deepen their employment litigation expertise. Salary Range : $225,000 - $300,000 / annually, DOE Responsibilities

- Handle California wage-and-hour class action claims and PAGA matters
- Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
- Draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written advocacy
- Assist with case strategy and management throughout the litigation lifecycle
- Collaborate with partners and clients on complex employment-related disputes
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Significant labor and employment law experience preferred
- Experience handling California wage-and-hour class action claims and PAGA cases preferred
- Strong experience drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings
- Experience drafting and arguing motions and taking and defending depositions
- Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and analytical skills
- Active California Bar membership
