Cross trained Denta Assistant

About the Role: Join our dynamic team at SAND HILL DENTAL LLC as a Cross Trained Dental Assistant! In this exciting role, you will support our dental professionals in providing exceptional patient care while gaining versatile skills in various dental procedures. Responsibilities: Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for patient appointments. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments efficiently and excellent phone skills. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols. Knowledge of front desk resposnisbilite and willing to learn protocols. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred. Experience in a dental office setting 2+ years. Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and be utilized where needed. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Current CPR certification is a must, or willing to get certified. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies, knowldege with Dentrix.
