SALES MANAGER

Sales ManagerThe newly renovated HAMPTON INN & SUITES FISHERS is seeking a driven and motivated Sales Leader to join our team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals to achieve sales targets for rooms sales and meeting space. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Manager will also be expected to represent in the hotel in the community, attending community events such as Chamber of Commerce functions, new business opening, and sports tourism related events.Responsibilities:Identify and pursue sales leads through a variety of channels, including phone, email, and social mediaBuild and maintain relationships with potential clients to drive sales growthNegotiate and close deals to achieve sales targetsCollaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement sales strategiesMaintain accurate records of sales activity and client relationshipsStay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to better understand clients' needs and identify new sales opportunitiesAttend community events and complete outside sales callsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or a related fieldStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to multitask and handle a high-volume workloadProficiency with computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office, PEP, Delphi, R&I helpfulAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesFluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plusPerks:Competitive salaryPaid time offMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planProfessional development opportunitiesPositive and supportive
