Position Overview

LHH is looking for a Logistics Coordinator for our client, a consumer products company here in NYC. This person will be responsible for managing and coordinating global inbound ocean, air, and parcel shipments across multiple countries and distribution centers. This is an on-going temporary position with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international ocean, air, and parcel shipments from origin through final delivery.
• Collaborate with carriers, factories, booking agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient shipment execution.
• Monitor shipment performance, identify risks, and proactively resolve booking, transit, and delivery issues.
• Analyze logistics data, develop reporting, and communicate shipment visibility and performance updates.
• Recommend transportation solutions based on transit times, freight availability, and business requirements. xhyhwjd
• Manage exception handling, shipment prioritization, and adherence to established logistics procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working with / leading carriers for clear control and ideally improvements
• Allocation adherence
• Overall performance
• Track/trace of shipments
• Improvement of transit times (key would be transshipment carrier management)
• Similar with booking agent/visibility provider
• Ideally experience with Infor Nexus platform
• Ideally having implemented or part of upgrades etc (ideal / ideal project managed implementation / RFQ as an analyst / other)
• Also tracking KPI's working to improve relevant items
• Timely booking , creation of docs, many other booking agent KPI's exist in general etc
• ensuring milestones / timely complete / accurate
