What You'll Do
- Create, maintain, and securely file medical records, logs, and related documents
- Organize records with sorting, labeling, and retrieving as per procedures
- Maintain inventory of clinic supplies; prepare inventory reports
- Monitor outside referrals and coordinate transfer of medical records
- Assist with drafting routine medical and dental reports
- Read, comprehend, and follow medical instructions, correspondence, and policies
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all records in compliance with regulations
What You Need
- Valid license or certification in healthcare or medical records (if applicable)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand medical instructions and policies
- Prior experience in medical records, healthcare, or related fields preferred
- Must be able to pass background and credit investigations for ICE clearance (which takes 4-6 weeks); candidates must be US citizens for ICE clearance processing
