Job Description
Perioperative Charge Nurse - Weekend Coverage

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, Days, starting at 0630.

Job Description

This position requires primarily weekend coverage for the perioperative unit.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the perioperative unit.
Coordinate patient care activities and staff assignments.
Ensure compliance with safety and procedural standards.
Provide support and mentoring to nursing staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of one year of current perioperative charge nurse or relief charge nurse experience.
Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Current CPR and ACLS certification.
Desired: Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field and two years or more of critical care experience.
Desired: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
