Travel Physical Therapist - $2,419 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Ellendale, North Dakota, starting ASAP. Essential Work Functions Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence. Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to stay current with best practices. Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home‑based settings. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome to apply. Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking and service excellence. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Proficient reading and writing in English; ability to follow verbal instructions. Computer skills (PC proficiency).
