Quality Food Safety Team Leader - Now Hiring!
Location: Multiple - Indiana, Richmond, and Washington Court House, Ohio.

Pinnacle Talent Recruiter, LLC is currently seeking a Food Safety Team Leader. The Food Safety Team Leader will lead the Food Safety team to ensure compliance with company, plant, and government food safety standards, including HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and environmental monitoring programs. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation and reporting, delivering training and standardization programs, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and overseeing sanitation and cleaning processes to ensure full compliance with food safety requirements.

Responsibilities Include:
*Execute and maintain the Plant Food Safety Program, including CCP, HACCP, FDA, product release, and pest control requirements.
*Investigate Food Safety, Environmental, and Micro non-conformance issues through CAPA processes.
*Manage microbial sampling, environmental swabbing, and testing programs in compliance with Corporate Quality SOPs.
*Lead GMP, quality system, and internal facility audits to ensure compliance with corporate and plant standards.
*Identify and implement quality improvements while tracking and reporting plant Quality KPIs.
*Support regulatory, internal, and external audits (FDA, USDA, AIB, State, etc.).
*Provide Food Safety training to Plant Operations teams.
*Partner with Plant Engineering to ensure sanitary equipment and food-safe design for capital projects.

Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Food Science, or related field.
*3+ years manufacturing experience with 1+ years in Food Safety.
*Experience with sanitation and cleaning programs.
*PCQI, HACCP, or GMP certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Microbiology background.
*3+ years supervisory and Food Safety experience.
*SAP knowledge and auditing/compliance experience.
