Payroll Benefits Manager

Paramount Legal is recruiting for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to join a highly respected, well-established law firm. This is an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented benefits/payroll professional who enjoys managing the full payroll process while overseeing a comprehensive employee benefits program. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full-cycle biweekly payroll process for a large employee population, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Administer payroll taxes, reporting, audits, year-end processing, and retirement plan contributions. Oversee the firm's employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans. Lead annual open enrollment and new hire benefits orientation. Serve as the primary resource for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, leave administration, and related policies. Maintain HRIS/payroll systems and ensure the integrity of employee data. Partner with leadership and outside vendors to ensure all payroll and benefits programs operate efficiently and remain compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications: 5+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience. Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paylocity, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs. Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, employee benefits administration, and leave management. CPP, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
