Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY Our firm is seeking a highly motivated Connecticut licensed land surveyor with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, to join our team of engineering and land surveying professionals for a full-time Land Surveyor position. Our firm’s focus is directed towards providing quality technical services related to general municipal engineering and infrastructure improvement projects to municipal clients, as well as Federal and State Agencies and the general public. RESPONSIBILITIES • Land records research and analysis • Field work • Boundary analysis and resolution • Cost estimating • Preparation of proposals • 95% office / 5% field QUALIFICATIONS • 5-10 year's experience • Connecticut L.S. required • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook • Skilled in oral and written communications, organization, and interpersonal relations • Ability to work under the supervision of others, or independently • Able to perform thorough, neat and accurate computations • Ambitious nature with desire to learn, adapt and grow • Committed to working efficiently • Excellent leadership and delegation skills • Strong research and analytical skills • Read and interpret plans and specifications • Ability to safely negotiate project sites in variable weather conditions • Energetic, professional attitude, and excellent work ethic ELIGIBILITY • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction • Licensed to operate a motor vehicle • Must be willing to take a drug test (if required) Company Description A professional civil and environmental engineering firm in the State of Connecticut whose primary business focus is directed towards providing quality technical services to municipal clients, as well as federal and state agencies.
