Specialist Engineer, Software Test

Support the company strategy by holding ourselves and one another accountable for getting the work done.If you are looking for a challenging opportunity that will ignite your passion for designing cool and innovative products, are exceptionally creative, are a great problem solver and can make things happen - apply today!ResponsibilitiesSupport the verification of safety-critical flight software.Develop code coverage and testing tools.Develop test cases for system and unit level testing.Develop and maintain regression testing tools.Provide mentorship to more junior members of the team.Provide support to the development of hardware-in-the-loop test equipmentTroubleshoot test failuresWork collaboratively to achieve goals and/or complete assigned tasks  Required Skills and Experience Must have a B.Sc. Engineering degree from an accredited university with minimum 12 years relevant integration and testing experience in aerospace or similar field, ideally working with complex electro-mechanical systems in aerospace or a related field.Experience with embedded system hardware and softwareExperienced Python development skillsExperience with requirements-based software testing.Experience with Vectorcast or similar unit testing tools.Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and written communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systemsExperience with component and system-level testingExperience developing test benchesExperience documenting wiring schematicsExperience with Labview and NI Veristand a plusDevelopment and validation of redundant systems for safety critical applicationsAircraft systems development per DO-254 and DO-178Digital communication protocols such as RS232, RS422, RS485, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553 and CANDemonstrate willingness to adjust thinking and behavior. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity.
