Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) registration is located in a facility in Silverdale, Washington. The role involves working in a fast-paced trauma center environment with a variety of patient diagnoses including cardiac events, stroke, sepsis, DKA, AMS, respiratory issues, abdominal pain, and mental health conditions. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts and requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Job Details:

• Position: Emergency Room RN
• Location: Silverdale, WA
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and at least 2 years of experience in a larger trauma setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing trauma patients, experience with EMR Epic, proficiency in managing ventilators and ABGs
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a trauma or emergency environment
• Shift Details: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; every other weekend requirement; holiday work required in November and December, with flexibility on one of the holidays if unit demands permit
• Additional Responsibilities: Management of ER holds, triage, and trauma patient care; utilizing EMR Epic for charting; supporting transport and lab duties; adherence to department-specific orientation and policies; no call or standby shifts required; optional float orientation available
• Unit Environment: Separate triage and holding areas, with security and private treatment rooms; about 170-200 patients daily; nurse-to-patient ratios 1:3 or 1:4 for low acuity cases
• Other Requirements: Professional scrub colors Dress Code; no RTO period within the first full week of assignment; hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract
