Position Overview

We're looking for a CDL Class A Intermodal Driver to join our first-shift team in Oak Creek, WI.

If you're tired of handling LTL freight, you'll appreciate our no-touch freight operation. You'll primarily haul intermodal ocean containers using drop-and-hook operations while enjoying the stability of dedicated routes and the benefit of being home every day.

Overtime opportunities are frequently available.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer hauling intermodal containers
• Transport ocean containers between rail yards, ports, and customer locations
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of tractors, trailers, and chassis
• Utilize Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) to accurately maintain DOT logs
• Report equipment issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal personnel
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Class A CDL
• Safe driving record
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work safely in varying weather and traffic conditions

Preferred

• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
• Recent graduates from an accredited CDL program will also be considered
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (highly preferred)

Note: Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required within 30 days of hire and qualify drivers for additional pay.
