Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Nursing License: Valid nursing license required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in an Emergency Room setting. Candidates must have experience managing a patient ratio of 4:1. The role involves working with various patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 65 patients with acute diagnoses such as strokes, STEMI, and sepsis. Nurses should be knowledgeable in procedures including blood product administration and care of ventilated patients. Experience with various emergency conditions such as traumatic injuries and cerebrovascular accidents is preferred. Orientation and training will be provided to ensure smooth integration into the unit. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs. Candidates must provide a supervisory reference upon submission. All certifications must be current and from recognized organizations. Specialty experience within the last year is required for consideration. Substantial teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
