ROLE DESCRIPTION: Successful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Customer Relations Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person, over the phone, and online directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
• Maintain a positive, helpful attitude and collaborate effectively with teammates to support a great customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
• Proactive in problem solving
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Skilled at computer navigation, including Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Insurance license 20-44 or 2-20 (must be able to obtain)

IMPORTANT NOTE ON COMPENSATION RANGE: The compensation range includes potential commissions and is determined by your experience in the insurance industry as well as current licensing status. Candidates with limited or no experience and without current insurance licensing will be considered at the lower end of the hourly range. Starting compensation is negotiable and will be based on proven successful experience and relevant licensing.


This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents' employees are not employees of State Farm.

Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
