Description
- Conduct patient evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient settings and formulate tailored treatment strategies
- Deliver physical therapy interventions focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal results
- Educate patients and their family members on therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and home exercise regimens
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress in strict adherence to facility and regulatory standards
- Engage in care team rounds and multidisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive patient care
Education
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Preferred: CPR certification
- Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
- Prior experience is strongly preferred

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
