Controller

Tatum by Randstad is working with a client in the high tech component manufacturing industry. Our client is in need of an interim controller to come in and head up the accounting function. The company is onsite 100% of time. The role is contract with potential to be contract to hire. The person taking on this interim controller opportunity would be handling the following duties:

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month end close function (review reconciliations and journal entries)
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Responsible for managing the inventory accounting duties.
• Present monthly and quarterly results to leadership
• Serve as the point of contact for the external auditors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required
• CPA or MBA is desired
• Prior experience heading up the accounting function at a manufacturing company with prior inventory accounting experience is required
• 5+ years of managing the accounting function is required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
