Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager – Multifamily Construction

Atlanta, GA

We’re working with a privately held, fully integrated multifamily development and construction company looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to its Atlanta team.

This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing ground-up multifamily developments from preconstruction through completion and stabilization. Unlike a traditional GC role, you’ll work closely with ownership and have significant input into project strategy, construction execution, and how the platform continues to grow.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Leading ground-up multifamily projects from preconstruction through stabilization
• Managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall execution
• Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, municipalities, subcontractors, and field teams
• Partnering closely with Superintendents to drive safety, quality, schedule, and budget
• Reviewing pay applications, change orders, forecasts, and project reporting
• Identifying and mitigating project risks throughout construction
• Overseeing turnover, warranty, and transition to property management
• Helping improve project management systems, reporting processes, and technology

What They’re Looking For

• 10+ years of ground-up construction experience
• Strong track record delivering multifamily projects from preconstruction through completion
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and cost controls
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and construction teams
• Podium, wrap, structured parking, or mixed-use experience is highly desirable
• Affordable housing / LIHTC experience is a plus
• Experience with platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, P6, or similar construction technology

Why This Role?

• Work directly alongside ownership with real influence over project decisions
• Join an integrated platform involved throughout the full development and construction lifecycle
• Primarily Atlanta-based projects with limited overnight travel
• Opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the company grows
• Long-term ownership mindset rather than simply building and moving onto the next project

Compensation

• Annual performance bonus
• Project completion and profit participation opportunities
• Health insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Generous PTO and company holidays
