CDL A Yard Jockey | $24 Per Hour - Benefits

TransForce is seeking CDL A Drivers to support Local operations based in Garner, NC. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Yard Jockey

• Schedule: 6:00PM - 6:00 AM
• 12 hour shifts, Rotating schedule working every other weekend
• Pay: $24.00 per hour
• Equipment: Yard Dog
• Freight / Load: Flooring

CDL A Delivery Driver Minimum Requirements: 

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Good backing skills and working in tight spaces
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Delivery Driver Responsibilities: 

• Safely operate equipment on local routes
• Transport paper products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role
