MRI Technologist (PRN)

This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, with a focus on delivering safe, accurate, and age-appropriate patient care. It requires flexibility in work hours, dependability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with team members. Key responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring image quality, and following safety protocols, including contrast administration and sterile techniques. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills to explain procedures, address patient concerns, and coordinate with physicians and staff. Qualifications include at least one year of clinical experience, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, and BLS certification. Skills required encompass strong attention to detail, multitasking, customer service, anatomical knowledge, and proficiency with MRI operations and safety standards. Additional duties include equipment maintenance, quality control, documentation, and supporting departmental operations.
