Job Description BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) operates under the guidance of the Plasma Center Manager and Center Physician, supporting plasma center operations. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility for plasma donation. Manage informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self‑exclusion. Conduct medical history interview and acceptability assessment. Perform physical examination and blood testing. Review serological protein electrophoresis (SPE) results. Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies. Coordinate donor transport to emergency care as required. Provide guidance on medical or technical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs. Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and consult occupational health for further evaluation. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of local community threats. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; graduate‑level nursing program recognized by state requirements. Licensed or certified RN, NP, or PA in the state of assignment. Current CPR and AED certification. State‑compliant basic IV therapy training. Completed FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting. Compensation and Benefits Location: USA – CO – Thornton Hourly wage range: $26.88 – $36.96. Salary subject to qualifications, experience, and state minimum wage requirements.
