Registered Nurse, Emergency Department

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Rotating Shift) in Burlington, Vermont.

Location: Burlington, VT

Assignment Duration: This is a 16-26 week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: Rotating Day/Night shifts with a minimum of every other weekend required. Schedule may be adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of the unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt schedule as necessary to meet the demands of patient care.

Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency setting or large, teaching facilities is required. Prior travel experience is preferred, but the facility may waive this for candidates with relevant experience.

Certifications/Licensure:

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• AHA PALS
• NIHSS certification (required prior to start)
• TNCC certification (must be presented before start)
• CEN, ENPC, MOAB, and other de-escalation training preferred
