Shift Details
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown ICU setting.
- Monitor and record routine vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Interpret data from specialized medical equipment.
- Administer prescribed medications and perform titration of drug dosages as required.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments based on patient condition changes and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Report any deterioration in patient condition to physicians and follow prescribed interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, files, and medical records.
- Supervise and support nursing assistants and other support staff within the unit.
- Educate patients and their families about treatments, procedures, and care plans.

- Experience: PCU / ICU (Stepdown) experience required
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Preferred Certification: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- First-time travelers are welcome
