From enterprise conferencing systems to site-wide surveillance and access control, we design and implement custom solutions tailored to client needs.We are currently seeking a highly experienced Commercial AV Field Technician with a strong background in Access systems, camera installations, and large multi-phase AV projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on high-profile job sites, managing complex installations, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.Position OverviewAs a Commercial AV Field Technician, you will be responsible for the hands-on installation, setup, and servicing of AV systems—including PTI access control systems, IP-based camera networks, digital signage, audio systems, and control platforms. You’ll work on some of our largest commercial jobs, collaborating with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless execution.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat6, fiber, coax, speaker, and control wiring)Deploy and configure PTI systems, access control panels, and user interfacesInstall and aim IP surveillance cameras, NVRs, and camera monitoring systemsMount and wire displays, projectors, touch panels, microphones, speakers, and racksRead and interpret schematics, floor plans, and elevation drawings for large jobsCoordinate with on-site stakeholders to align with job site timelines and milestonesPerform system-level testing, commissioning, and client handoffProvide technical support and service on installed systems as neededMaintain detailed records, including installation photos, service logs, and redlinesRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in commercial AV field installation and serviceHands-on experience with PTI systems, camera installations, and access control hardwareProven track record working on large-scale AV projects across multiple tradesStrong understanding of AV signal flow, rack assembly, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with systems from Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, and similar brandsComfortable working at heights, in active construction zones, and using lifts/ laddersValid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportationExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsCertification or training with PTI Security Systems, Hikvision, Axis, or similar camera platformsAVIXA CTS or CTS-I certificationExperience with AV-over-IP, VLANs, and network infrastructureOSHA 10/30 certificationAbility to lead small crews or act as site lead on large installationsWhy Join Us?Competitive pay and benefits packageProjects that span high-end commercial and enterprise clientsOpportunities for training, certifications, and long-term career growthWork with cutting-edge tech in access control, AV, and surveillanceSupportive, tight-knit team environment with leadership that values your expertise #J-18808-Ljbffr EOC Audio, Inc.
