Assembly Specialist (First Shift) – $22/hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Specialist to join our first shift team in Fairfield, Ohio. This role focuses on tear-down, inspection, and reassembly of compressor air ends to OEM specifications. Candidates must have pipe fitter experience and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tear-down, inspection, and root cause failure analysis of compressor air ends
• Clean, de-burr, polish, and restore rotors, cylinders, and end plates
• Reassemble compressor air ends according to OEM specifications and tolerances
• Use precision measurement tools for component verification
• Complete work orders, inspection reports, and rebuild documentation
• Prepare parts lists and estimate repair times
• Identify and resolve mechanical or process issues
• Support shop operations, including equipment maintenance, rentals, and general shop duties
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a pipe fitter is required
• Experience in mechanical inspection, repair, or maintenance preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
