Maintenance & Repair Technician

Industrial Machine Shop MaintenanceThe primary responsibility of the Industrial Machine Shop Maintenance role is to support the day-to-day activities associated with all aspects of manufacturing operations, including but not limited to installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment throughout the facility.Essential Job Functions:Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment as neededMaintain and improve the safe working environment on the shop floor and its surrounding areas.Establish a proactive and reactive maintenance program.Actively participate in our safety programFill machine oils, Empty chip hoppers, Sweep/run floor scrubberClean coolant tanks, burr benchesTroubleshoot/repair machinesBuilding maintenance, Lighting, Electrical, Plumbing, PaintingMaintain outside, parking lot, and dock areaSkill Requirements:Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.Proficient in problem analysis, problem-solving, and successful resolution.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and group communication skills.Qualifications:Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance / technical role is preferredExperience with equipment installs and modifications in a manufacturing environmentExperience working with CNC machines is preferredPreferred experience working in CADPreferred additive OEM and FSE experienceBenefits Start on Day 1:Medical, Dental, and Vision plansLife Insurance, Long & Short-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Spending Account401(k) Retirement with Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid time off and 10 paid holidays (including your birthday)Paid parental leaveAdditional opt-in offeringsWork Environment:The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas, where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, and other mandatory safety equipment.For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.Physical Demands:Sit or stand as needed.Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.Proper lifting techniques required.Ability and comfort level to work in small confined spaces while following proper safety protocol.Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.Safety and Policy Practices:Each employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Company's need to achieve its business objectives.
