Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: Beckley, WV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 06:30 - 15:00, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend hours required every other week, and call requirements are on an as-needed basis.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy unit provides comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, working within a collaborative environment to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
Assist in the performance of EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements.
Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to provide optimal care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Endoscopy unit.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.
Experience with endoscopic procedures is preferred, specifically EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and Bronchoscopy.
