Job Title:** Patient Care Technician I (PRN) Job Type:** PRN (Pro Re Nata / As Needed) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician I to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and ensure high-quality care and comfort for our patients. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Support nursing staff with basic clinical tasks and patient care procedures. Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Respond promptly to patient needs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Patient Care Technician training program preferred. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.
