Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference this summer by supporting students' growth and development as a physical therapist in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about pediatric care and eager to work with children during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The assignment runs from June 15th through July 17th and offers a rewarding schedule: two days per week within the Monday–Thursday window, 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and special education processes
• Ability to create and implement individualized physical therapy interventions
• Effective collaboration skills with educators, families, and other specialists
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with diverse physical needs
• Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with students’ IEP goals
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and participation
• Provide consultative support and resources to educational teams
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
