Looking for a dynamic and rewarding role in the food service industry? Tommy's West Restaurant, located in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic server to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences and fostering a welcoming environment for both our guests and staff.
What You'll DoAs a server at Tommy's West Restaurant, you'll play a key role in creating memorable moments for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and seating customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Taking accurate food and drink orders and ensuring timely delivery to tables.
- Providing menu recommendations and answering any questions about our offerings.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including table settings and dining areas.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Handling customer payments and ensuring accurate transactions.
- Delivering top-notch customer service to ensure every guest leaves happy.
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- At least 1 year of experience in a serving or similar customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
