Discover what is Hidden in Plain SightThe Housekeeping Room Attendant position will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuumingChange and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as neededPerform deep cleaning tasks, as neededMaintain safety and cleanliness standards for the brandStock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supplies throughout the hotelDispose of trash and recyclablesRespond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient mannerPerform guest turn-down service, as neededBe able to work flexible shiftsBe able to meet the physical demands of the positionRequired Skills/Abilities:Good eye for detailsWorking knowledge of housekeeping and hotel services, policies, and operations.Good communication skills.Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.A minimum of 1 year of housekeeping and/or hotel experienceMust be available for day shifts, weekends, and holidays.Physical Requirements:Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.The Ellison Hotel is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
