This position reports to the Director of Therapy.Schedule: Full-time position.This position is responsible for:Monitoring resident's progress and communicating with the Occupational Therapist (OT).Carrying out established resident's Care Plan and goals as designated by the OT.Assisting the OT during resident evaluations.Maintaining documentation in system of resident's activities, record progress and document billing activities.Performing Resident's Home Assessment as part of the discharge process as directed by the OT.Performing Resident's screening during the admission process and quarterly & annual screening to determine the need for therapy as directed by the OT.Qualifications:Associates Degree from an AOTA accredited program.Licensed or eligible for licensure in states that regulate the Occupational Therapy Assistant.Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.Utilizes effective time management skills.Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and residents.Westminster offers a supportive, mission-driven environment where team members are valued and actively supported in their professional growth and career development.
