Regional Field Service Manager

Leica Biosystems seeks a Regional Field Service Manager to lead a team of Field Service Engineers across the Southeast, driving customer satisfaction, service execution, and equipment uptime. The role combines team leadership with cross-functional collaboration to deliver diagnostic solutions in the cancer diagnostics space.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing Field Service Engineer team with accountability for regional performance
- Ensure timely, high-quality service calls, installations, and escalation resolution with focus on first-time fix
- Partner with Sales, Applications, and Service Coordination to retain business and support growth
- Drive continuous improvement using Danaher Business System tools and Daily Management KPI review
- Resolve customer escalations by identifying root causes and preventing recurring issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years field service or customer support experience
- 3+ years leading customer-facing or field-based teams
- Demonstrated ability managing customer escalations and service delivery
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel up to 75% (flying and/or driving, potentially overnight)
- Experience lifting up to 50 lbs regularly; prolonged standing, walking, and stair climbing
Compensation: $130,000–$147,500 base
