Overview
Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele in Burlington, VT. This assignment is for a 16-week, hospital-based float pool role starting November 2, 2026. Shift: three 12-hour night shifts per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,601 to $2,704. This is a travel - temporary assignment with floating required to central Medical-Surgical/Tele units and potentially to related areas. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and able to cover holidays as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on Med Surg Tele units, including routine assessments and care planning
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and standard treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient status, interpret findings, and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure accurate charting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care coordination and discharge planning
- Float to related units as needed to support patient care and unit operations

Requirements
- Active RN license in Vermont (or eligibility) in good standing
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; NIHSS must be completed prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting; level 1 trauma teaching facility experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to float to units including hematology, oncology, orthopedics, med tele, general surgery, neurology (including neuro SDU), neurosurgery, ENT, and GYN
- Must be available for a night-shift schedule (3x12) and able to work 2 of the 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)
- Reliable transportation to and from shifts
