Position Summary


Wise Staffing Group is seeking experienced and dependable Forklift Operators for warehouse opportunities in the Henrico, VA area. Forklift Operators will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the warehouse or distribution facility.


The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Move and stage products, materials, and pallets throughout the facility.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, stocking, and general warehouse operations.
• Inspect products and materials for accuracy and potential damage.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and warehouse paperwork as needed.
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Valid forklift certification is preferred; additional training may be available depending on the assignment.
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

$15.00-$18.00 per hour , depending on experience, forklift skills, and overall qualifications.
