Job Summary Caregiver assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining resident dignity and safety while providing compassionate, high‑quality care. The role requires responsiveness, compassion, and adherence to care plans and company policies. Schedule Friday – Monday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pay $20.00 – $22.00 per hour Responsibilities Respond to resident needs promptly and kindly, maintaining each resident’s self‑respect, personal dignity, safety, and confidentiality (approx. 50%) Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care is provided (10%) Assist residents in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and toileting (20%) Provide assistance at mealtimes such as selecting meals, serving, eating, and clearing trays (3%) Transport residents to appointments, meals, and activities, using safe lifting and transferring techniques (3%) Perform regular safety checks on residents (1%) Encourage and lead residents in daily activities and meaningful enrichment programs (3%) Assist with laundry, cleaning, and other community duties as assigned (1%) Manage oxygen tanks and concentrators per MD orders (1%) Chart and document resident information and incident reports, and communicate any changes to a supervisor immediately (4%) Respond promptly to all resident alerts and emergency situations (3%) Support fire and safety drills to ensure resident safety and comfort (1%) Requirements Age 18 or over; or possess valid work authorization and permit High school diploma or equivalent Nurse’s aide certification preferred Current first‑aid certification Background clearance as required by government regulations Recent TB test within the last 6 months (or within 7 days of employment) Prior caregiving experience preferred; on‑the‑job training available for candidates with the right attitude and desire Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English Ability to follow oral and written directions Effective interpersonal skills with people of diverse ages and backgrounds Must meet and maintain all state‑specific regulatory requirements Physical Demands Mobile and able to kneel, squat, reach overhead, and bend as required by caregiving duties Capable of lifting 40+ pounds and pushing 150 pounds unassisted Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching up to 4% Childcare and eldercare assistance Flexible spending accounts Regulatory Disclosures Team members at Medicare or Medicaid‑funded communities must not be considered an “Excluded Party” under federal or state law.
