Account Executive

Position Summary The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new revenue from the sale of IP transit services and other value‑added services to ISPs and internet‑centric companies domestically and internationally. This role involves lead generation, proposal development, relationship building, quarterly business planning, reporting through Salesforce, and adherence to company policies. The position is located in a hybrid model with remote work and onsite duty in the Redmond, WA office three days a week. Responsibilities Execute lead generation activities to identify and engage prospects, aiming to achieve new sales in line with monthly booking targets. Identify new business opportunities and generate net incremental MRR of GE, 10GE, 100GigE ports and value‑added services. Prepare commercial and technical service proposals that are technically and commercially sound. Develop and maintain strong relationships with business executives in prospect and customer organizations. Create a quarterly business plan aligned with department objectives. Track, manage, and report ongoing activity in Salesforce and other required systems. Travel up to 25% or as needed. Participate and successfully complete all company‑wide mandates and training in a timely manner. Comply with ethics, professional standards, security policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Four‑year degree or related sales experience. Proven track record in lead generation, hunting, and acquisition‑focused B2B sales. Minimum of 3‑5 years of professional work experience with 1‑2 years in high‑tech sales, preferably selling to wholesale bandwidth consumers. Experienced in meeting and exceeding sales goals. Excellent solution‑oriented, business‑value qualification skills. Strong sales, written, verbal, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Good knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM. Skills & Core Competencies Proficient in Salesforce (SFDC). Track record of over‑achieving sales results. Thorough understanding of internet technologies and economics. Familiarity with technical requirements of internet‑centric companies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate efficiently to senior management inside and outside the company. Capability to prepare and deliver professional, structured customer proposals with limited supervision. Skill in working efficiently with finance, sales engineering, legal, and IP engineering resources. Flexibility to work outside standard hours. Working Conditions Hybrid – remote work and onsite duty at the Redmond, WA office three days a week. Compensation & Benefits Target base salary: $60,000–$68,000 (based on experience) plus variable commissions.
