Site Safety and Health Officer + CSP, HI

We're actively seeking a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with previous Site Safety & Health Officer and EM‑385 experience to join an amazing team for a multi‑year concrete dry dock construction project at high profile project in Honolulu, Hawaii. This will be a field position. This position will be full-time for the duration of the project, with per diem provided. Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with EM 385‑1‑1, OSHA, and other applicable safety regulations. Act as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for the project, ensuring all safety protocols are implemented and maintained. Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and hazard analyses to identify risks and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain Accident Prevention Plans (APPs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and other safety documentation as required. Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and briefings to on‑site personnel. Investigate and document incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and military personnel to ensure a safe work environment. Maintain accurate safety records and reports in compliance with government and company policies. Qualifications Must possess an active CSP Certified Safety Professional certification to be considered Must demonstrate at least 10 years in construction safety Must demonstrate previous SSHO and EM 385 experience Must be able to pass a DBIDs background check Benefits Full Time 50 hours per week (overtime eligible after 40 hours) Not local?
