Foster Care Specialist

The Outreach Specialist/Caseworker is responsible for recruiting, screening, and supporting foster families while providing comprehensive case management services to assigned participants. This role implements foster parent recruitment strategies through community outreach, advertising, and relationship-building with referral sources, while responding to inquiries and coordinating applications. As a caseworker, the position maintains a caseload, develops and monitors individualized service plans, ensures regulatory and agency compliance, completes required documentation, and collaborates with foster families, agencies, and courts to support participant progress. The role includes crisis intervention through on-call rotation, participation in court proceedings, regular face-to-face client contact, and occasional evening or weekend responsibilities.
