About the Position

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting required License: NH Med Tech License required Certifications: CST and BLS required Must-Have: - General knowledge and skill set to scrub most surgical specialties - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role Description: Candidates must have valid CST certification and BLS certification in hand before application. Two years of experience in a hospital setting is required. Working holidays is required. The unit has 7 OR suites. The staff includes RNs, CSTs, CST/FAs, and orderlies. Patient ratios vary based on procedures. Typical equipment includes EMR systems. Preferred skills include experience in Orthopedics, Trauma, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, and Robotics. Typical procedures performed include Ortho, General, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, Robotics, Podiatry, and Dental. The best personality fit is friendly, professional, and self-motivated. Candidates should be prepared to work rotating weekends and on-call as needed. Dress code requires hospital-supplied scrubs. No floating areas are present in this role.
