Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional full-time Addiction's Counselor to join our team in a new Level 3.1 male location! Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful independent living. Responsibilities Run OP / IOP substance use disorder groups. Complete substance use disorder assessments, treatment plans, group notes, & other clinical documentation under the supervision of an LCSW-C. Take part in a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client care & treatment. Attain occasional trainings & maintain licensure requirements. Qualifications Active ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LMSW or LGPC license in the State of Maryland. At least 2 years' experience with a substance use disorder population. Computer literate & experience working in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Possess sound judgement, professionalism, & compassion for client care. Excellent documentation & communication skills. Familiarity with DHMH / CARF requirements. Hours Full Time Monday - 12:00pm - 8:00pm Tuesday - 9:00am - 5:00pm Wednesday - 9:00am - 5:00pm Thursday - 12:00pm - 8:00pm Friday - 9:00am - 5:00pm Benefits Paid time off (PTO) Optional Medical / Dental / Vision insurance Optional 401(K) plan with employer match Employer paid life insurance Paid holidays Additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process Salary $52,000/yr. - $65,000/yr.
